FluffButter

Up for today’s #nutbutter review: @dsnaturals

Vanilla Maple 15f/7c/11p – very good smell of Maple, great texture as its very smooth. Would be great for a drizzle of some sorts. I get more vanilla than I do maple. I make my own maple syrup so I got a taste for it, so definitely try to increase that. Pleasant aftertaste as well. Good consistency for being kept in the fridge. Doesn’t get hard as a rock

8/10
Brownie batter – 15f/7c/11p – good chocolate brownie smell, again good smooth consistency even after being in the fridge. Easy to spread. You can taste the almond a lot on this one with a backdrop of chocolate. Would definitely try to increase the chocolate.
8/10

Both also get good marks for vegan friendly, gluten. Dairy, soy, lactose, etc etc free.
These are both solid buys, and I would recommend👍

@lennyandlarrys snickerdoodle cookie. 8f/54c/16p
Good cinnamon/nutmeg aroma, dense, chewy but just a tad bit to moist in the middle. Hits all your markers if you have gluten problems, vegan, no eggs, no dairy, HFCS, etc. Felt as tho it was slightly under cooked almost like raw cookie?. I don’t think I’d mind as much with the pb or the chocolate but with this flavor I would expect a slight crispier cookie. Great initial flavor but I feel it gets lost with the undercooked inside. Did enjoy this cookie only being 8g of fat, but I feel 50+ carbs is still kinda high. I suppose this passes as a snickerdoodle cookie, but not sure if this will make it into the usual mix. Warming the cookie up did make it much better! Helped to bring out the flavor !

3rd Version Quest CCCD

IMG_20160210_145314

3rd version Quest CCCD. 9/21/20
This one was a bit tastier than the new CNC. Good chew, good amount of chunks, I did find that the more you chewed it still did have a slight grainy feel to it, then flavor would go bland as a aftertaste. Idk if it’s just me but these new bars also stick like a mofo to the wrapper.
Sadly I’d take this over the CNC, but for the macros I’d much rather eat a @combatcrunch and have a bit of fat n get a better texture.

If a smores walked into a cake factory and got alil “Dirty”

What’s going on guys??! Raining ass Friday and its slow as hell at work. I figured I would kill a bit of time and write up a full review on my thoughts about the company Enlightened and their product Roasted Broad Beans.

I like beans. Baked beans, Green beans, Bean Brownies, all sorts of beans. Good carb, good protein, good fiber. What else do you want.

Now, I want to say I am not affiliated, endorsed, or anything like that with this company. I was just lucky enough to win a giveaway and really enjoyed the product.

IMG_20150807_075820302

How nice =]

They also have ice cream which I would really like to try, but not stocked by me =[

Here is what a typical bag looks like, and my personal favorite flavor, Sriracha

Svg Size 1 oz : 100 cals, 2.5 fat , 15 carb, 7 protein with 3g of fiber.

Here was two reviews I did on some of the flavors.

IMG_20150804_173057

@eatenlightened roasted broad beans Garlic & Onion.
First of all I wanna say thank you to @eatenlightened and @lowcarbcooking for hooking me up with a nice little goodie package.
Secondly, I freaking love these. At 2.5f/15c/7p 3fiber I could eat these all day. Awesome change up if you like munching on sunflower seeds, nuts, etc. Awesome flavor, great crunch(made a good topping on my chicken lo mein) and leave a nice taste in your mouth. Cool that it’s beans to haha. So many flavors to try.
Overall: 9/10
Would I buy: yes
Would I recommend: yes

IMG_20150805_131529

Back with another review.
Today I’m doing 2 more flavors of the @eatenlightened beans.
Sriracha: first bit is sweet then come the heat in and gives you just the right amount of zing to know its Sriracha but not to hot where it looses flavor(like lots of Sriracha products) I could eat these for days, and threw some on my chicken Sammy which was a great idea.
Sea Salt. Perfect amount of salt flavor, and no to over powering. Threw these in my soup and they kept their crunch for some time. So much better than an oyster cracker.
No way to rate one over the other here cause it would just call to personal likings on flavor.
I would give them both a 9.5/10 just cause there is always room for improvement in anything.
Would I recommend: yes
So much you could do with these. Salads, chex mix, dish toppers, etc

They Also have BBQ and Wasabi flavor not pictured as well.

I highly recommend these to anyone and everyone! So much potential with these bad boys. I will be making these a staple in the diet. I wish I could get my hands on their ice cream to! Go check them out!

Cinnamon and Puffins, Puffins and cinnamon. Oh wait, their Blueberry!

Well The feedback I have been getting from these Cinnamon Puffins lately has been crazy! That is right I said Puffins. Protein Muffins my Flexible Dieting people. In the past couple days I have no made these 3 times, each time slightly changing volume of ingredients, and changing up the frosting each time as well. Last two times I have gotten crazy and added blue berries!

Today I will show you how you can make a half batch, or a full batch. You can decide 😉

IMG_20150609_120140_020

First let us begin with adding

17g Protein of Choice. I used @cellucor Cinnamon swirl

10g Coconut flour

1 packet Stevia

1 tsp of baking powder ( I gotta be honest I don’t measure)

2 tsp cinnamon (again I don’t measure I just dump in)

4g Vanilla SF FF Pudding mix

Mix that all together.

IMG_20150609_120708_804

Then I added

45g Pumpkin Puree (Usually would of been 30 but I wanted to use up what was left)

Couple splashes of vanilla

46g Egg whites

10g @Waldensfarmsinternational Pancake Syrup

Splash of milk…… Literally. Just a splash, don’t do what I usually do and make things to runny.

IMG_20150609_121057_019

Throw you batter into either sprayed tin or use these little holders. First time I used these, and I must say I wont be again I don’t think. For one, I lost some of my muffin when getting them out, and two it seemed to make them cook longer.

I then threw in 10g of frozen blueberries. They don’t need to be, its just all I had.

Throw in oven at 350 F for anywhere from 12-20min. I find each time its slightly different depending on protein, and such.

IMG_20150609_121331_988

In the meantime for the this version I decided to go with a Greek Yogurt Glaze even tho I am not a huge fan.

Mix

30g Greek yogurt

10G Protein

Splash of Pancake Syrup

Loads more Cinnamon

Touch of vanilla

Then I threw in Fridge till ready to frost.

IMG_20150609_122834_653

Pop your muffins out of the oven and use the ole toothpick test. Set aside to cool

IMG_20150609_125746

Frost then enjoy by themselves or with a meal! I had them with 3 shrimp egg rolls, Mac n cheese with veggies and pretzels, and a Cheese stuffed burger with BBQ, bacon, and jalapenos.

Here are two other versions that I have made recently. The first one I also had let sit in the fridge for 4-5 hrs before enjoying and gave them a texture I really enjoyed. The 2nd pic, I chose to add some cinnamon toast crunch as a garnish of sorts.

215 kcals 1.1fat 17.1 carbs 30.2 protein

That is 71.6 cals .36 fat 5.7 carbs 10.06 protein per muffin…. or should I say Puffin. Not to shabby I would say!

Like I said, play with the levels to decrease or increase volume. So many combinations ! Stay tune for some more flavor combos!

If you like what you see and give it a try don’t forget to let me know what you think!

I know y'all don't give a shit about my dinner. You just want me for my goodies… 😕😆 Wrapped up my half dozen with the dunkin chips ahoy donut. Kept the theme with @cellucor chocolate chip cookie dough brownies with a @dymatize fudge frosting with a cookie crumble. Just like the donut 😉 mixed butterscotch n chocolate pudding with egg whites n made an omelette stuffed with frosting. Threw the donut In the oven a bit then the pan. Melted the fluff inside but turned it almost into a caramel. 7/10. Also threw Brownie ice cream in the pan. Melted quite a bit so I decided to throw everything on top of the brownies. Now ima throw on some Beethoven and pass out cause I'm working all weekend….. Least I got a donut saved for deads tmrw. 😉 #iifym #teamwag #leangains #leangainsmeals #foodporn #food #carbsafterdark #cellucor #dymatize #flexibledieter #flexibledieting #if #fasting #cookies #donut #nationaldonutday #halfdozen #hotmess #alltheprotein #ifitfits #macros #bodybuilding #powerlifting #icecream
