@phorosnutrition Protein pancake review.
.
1/2 cup svg – 220cal / 3f / 18c / 30p/ 2 fiber
.
.
First off, went to make 2 svgs as it directs a cup of water, but that was to much liquid so I had to add in another half svg to thicken it up. Good looking pancakes after cooked for the most part, but not extremely fluffy, and they cook fast. Definitely not a pancake I would eat plain, but with a good syrup it doesn’t taste bad. It’s a bit dry of a cake, that could be either from the oat Flour, or whey concentrate, and the cake itself could use a bit more base flavor. Macros for the cakes themselves are pretty solid, and similar to brands like @flapjacked , but these are slightly lower carb and higher protein. Yield for a batch is also pretty similar to competitors as well. 2-4 cakes per svg depending on size. Ingredient list is fairly short as only 6 things listed, so you know everything going in which is a plus. Worth mentioning that this blend is 0 sugar! .
.
Overall I gotta go with a 6/10. Macros are good, but taste needs improvement.

High Protein Chocolate Mousse

Dessert is usually the enemy when it comes to making things healthy, or the first thing to go when trying to cut off a few extra pounds. For me, that just doesn’t work. In the kitchen today I decided to whip up an extremely QUICK and extremely EASY Chocolate Mousse or the fancy name or pudding for those that don’t wanna eat classy haha. This mousse is not only HIGH PROTEIN, but its LOW FAT and LOW CARBS, so this chocolate dessert is a hard one to pass up on.

Just look at this bite! Yum!

Ingredients:

4 oz Unsweetened Almond Milk

32g Muscletech Chocolate Casein

5g Unsweetened Cocoa

6g Truvia or other graulated sugar/sweetner

Instructions:

1.  Place all of your ingredients into a blender. I used a small personal Ninja. Blend until combined well. You are looking for a smooth, thick, doesn’t run off your spoon consistency. Depending on the type of protein you use, you may have to adjust your liquid level.

2. Eat right out of the blender, or get creative and spice it up! I made mine into a pudding cup and layered it with Fat Free Cool Whip, then topped with Walden Farms Chocolate Syrup and a reduced fat Oreo!

Here are a few things you might need!

Truvia Baking Blend Natural Sweetener 24 OZ(Pack Of 2)

First thing to mention is the nice split of macros. Honestly roughly 5-8g of fat and 20-30g of carbs and protein is typically what I’m looking for in a bar. Very strong Raspberry aroma here but does has a artificial tinge to it. Bars dipped in chocolate then finished with a chocolate drizzle. Very soft texture to the touch. Soft when bitten in to and no real crunch factor. Few whey crisps but they get lost. Pretty much the only flavor I get in this bar is artificial Raspberry. I don’t have any chocolate flavors on the tongue at all. Trying the chocolate by itself was very meh. Unsweetened and didn’t offer much. Overall for me the artificial Raspberry is a bit to much for me. Takes over everything and lingers in your mouth. .
.
Overall 4.5/10.
IMO the bar is edible is you absolutely need something and your friend says he’s got the hook up(which he clearly doesn’t) and lets you pick between this or @bpi_sports best bars(see previous reviews). .

Cheesecake 3 Ways, Bday/CnC/Smores

Cheesecake is the theme today! I am such a huge fan of cheesecake. Its rich, creamy, a nice cold treat on a hot summer day, and when made like this low fat and loaded with protein! That combo is a hard one to pass on, and I know I don’t let it pass! Today I have 3 very similar variations of cheesecake that are extremely simple, and quick to make!(well at least until it hits the oven!). Don’t worry if you don’t have everything you need as I’ve provided links to almost all of the ingredients for each recipe to help make this as easy as possible!

Place 7-8 Oreo in the bottom of a 6in spring form pan. Next put your cream cheese into a mixer and beat very well. Next add in your Greek yogurt, whey, and sugar, beat well then scrap down sides. Add in your egg and vanilla and mix just until incorporated. Scrap down sides and add in almond milk, mix. Finally crush one Oreo into the batter and give it a final mix in. Pour your cheesecake batter into your spring form(layered with tin foil) then if desired sprinkle sprinkles over the top. Then set cake into a water bath. Bake in the oven for roughly 1 hour or until its lost most of its giggle. Remove from oven and place on a cooling rack. Also remove the tin foil. Put the first 4 ingredients in a bowl and mix until incorporated. Place the crust into the bottom of a 6in spring form pan. You can use and size you want just will change thickness of cheesecake. Next, place Cream Cheese in mixer and beat till smooth. Scrap down the sides of your bowl and add in you sugar, greek yogurt, fluff and whey. Mix very well. Repeat scraping. Again a very unappealing bar on the visual and aroma side of things. Tan bar with a yellowish white coating mimicking icing I would assume. Just a few small sprinkles scattered throughout the bar as well. Honesty I couldn’t even hammer out a smell on this bar, I think they were trying for a bday cake aroma or something but it’s to faint. Very very weird off putting taste as soon as you bite into, with a weird texture. You think it would be soft n chewy but it almost has a plastic feel to it. No real taste either other than a bit of sweetness at the end. I took only as many bites needed to make this review. Yet another dissipointment from @bpi_sports and their bars. Definitely sad I wasted money on these, but I knew I would not be surprised, yet I had to do it for you #fitfam .

Visually extremely unappealing here. Tan bar with a white bottom coating with pretzels scattered through out. Not really much of a smell here. Kinda just like their other bars. Little bit of white chocolate that’s it, but not a very pleasant smell. Very bland taste here. Extremely sticky, I don’t taste pretzel or w.choc, almost no crunch from the pretzel and you really only get a small vanilla sweet taste twords the end. Very disappointed with this bar. Little high on the macros being 9f and 32 c but they say it’s only 12 net carbs cause of fiber but I don’t follow that. I definitely would never buy this again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. .

Good afternoon! Thank you for checking out this review!

Macros: 135 cal / 3.5 f / 6c / 24g p

Whey Isolate and Casein Blend for a fast and slow release. Great strawberry aroma, but falls short on taste. Slightly pasty and a bit weak on overall flavor, but it does bake well! The freeze dried strawberry pieces put me off to it as well. Check out the video for the whole review!
