Atkins Lift Bars

@atkinsinsider lift Salted Caramel Crunch Protein Bar review:
4f/24c/21p and 16g fiber. Good caramel aroma when first opening. 60g bar in weight so about average. Pieces of almond and protein crisps spread throughout. Unfortunately they dont do to much for the texture here. Decent caramel flavor to start, but as you chew it definitely loses flavor. Decent macros and a good hit of fiber tho.
6.8/10 , decent eat but wouldn’t go out of my way.
Video review on the YouTube, as well as a protein bar I would stay away from!! Just search for the flexible baker!

Epic Spreads

Cookies and Cream:

14f/10c/6p – creamy and rich, perfect for drizzling when at room temp. Epic was my first cashew/coconut spread but I dig it. I should mention I hate coconut. Nice cookie chunks evenly throughout. Sweet but not to sweet, as the nut butter hits soon after the sweet is over for a good blend. Macros are good for a non marketed ‘protein’ nut butter. Also, the man behind the scenes it’s top notch. Patrick has been a great guy since day one. Always very happy with my experiences with @epicspreads

Laurel’s Butter

@laurelsbutter Oatmeal Cookie up for today’s #nutbutterseries . Also find a video version on YouTube under The Flexible Baker(I think, I have no idea how to work YouTube)
16f/9c/12p – first off. Ingredients list is awesome. 4 , and that’s its. Simple and freaking delicious. Idk how she got the taste so money without a ton of ingredients. This is a great blend between smooth and chunky. Perfect for sammys or other sweet goodies. Chunks of chopped up raisins in it as well. Literally like eating a pb covered oatmeal cookie. I thought this was really good and I’m not even a huge raisin fan! Can’t recommend @laurelsbutter enough. Her slogan is “no crap, just nuts” and I love it!
8.8/10 would buy again.

Gatorade Power Protein Bars

Here’s a link to a variety pack! Gatorade Whey Protein Recover Bars, Variety Pack,20 grams, 12 Count with Rule 1 Whey Protein Trial Pack

@gatorade chocolate pretzel review
11f/42c/20p – pretty high carb n fat. Decent size bar. Nice Chocolate coating. Similar to a rice Krispy texture. Good bits of pretzel throughout and they kept a nice bit of salty flavor in it. Good chew, and a nice Chocolate after taste. I also liked the after taste of pretzel lingering there to. Good bar, kind of high macros though. If you are worried about sugar this isn’t the bar for you. Comes in at 27g.
Still enjoyable to eat but nothing overwhelming.
Gatorade Whey Protein Recover Bars, Chocolate Pretzel, 12 Count

@gatorade chocolate caramel review:
10f/43c/20p – good size bar, nice Chocolate coating, and a thick caramel layer right underneath the chocolate. Rice crispy like texture inside the bar. Good aroma of caramel, not a lot of chocolate. First bite you get caramel right away and it has a nice sweet vanilla finish. Great chew to accompany this bar. Definitely reasonably priced. Think it was only 1.60$ per bar. Definitely enjoyable to eat. I am beginning to see why @nothingisimpossiblex is a fan. Critiques would be, lower the sugar/overall carb count a bit and increase the chocolate flavor a bit.
8.5/10 would buy again.
Video on the YouTube.

@gatorade chocolate chocolate chip review: 13f/42c/20p

Dense, good size bar. Nice Chocolate coating on the outside. Good chocolate aroma. Bust it open and it’s got chocolate dusted rice crispies with a few chocolate chips mixed in there. Good chew with this flavor as well. Definitely something they did right with these bars. Its a nice mix between crunchy n chewy. This flavor definitely has the best chocolate flavor out of all the bars I’ve had so far. Warming it up helped increase the chocolate a bit more, as I find warming most chocolate bars up does. Well chewing this it reminded me of eating a CRUNCH bar. No not combat crunch, an actual crunch h candy bar. Downsides, after chewing for awhile you lose the chocolate and left with dry crispies, and the macros could be a bit better.
This review will be up on my YouTube page.
Gatorade Whey Protein Recover Bars, Chocolate Chip 2.8 ounce bars (12 Count)

@gatorade mint chocolate crunch bar.
Right away you pop it open and get a great Andes candy aroma. Nice Chocolate coating, and rice Krispy like texture. Good chew, and nice crunch. This bar is easily my favorite out of this line. It’s a great mix of each flavor. First off you get a bit of chocolate, then mint and not that overpowered menthol mint, then finishes with a bit more chocolate. Obviously the downsides to the bar are that it’s high cal, carb, and fat. Ideal macros for this imo would be 10f/30c/20p
9/10 , best mint bar ive taste on the market.

100cal Orange and Cherry Muffins

So, I love muffins. I dislike all of the fat that is usually accompanied with them. They are so good, with so many different flavor combos. Unfortunately, I don’t travel out to get them as they take a toll on my macros. Lucky for you all I can do a bit of baking! I whipped up these Orange and Cherry muffins well keeping in mind, LOW FAT!

Well…… I came through guys. 100 calories for these delicious muffins. Actually 94 cals to be exact!

  • Cals – 94
  • Fat – .8g
  • Carbs – 10.1g
  • Protein – 7.5g
  • Fiber – 2.3g

    • 4 Scoops GNC Orange Lean Shake(Can use regular protein but will need to adjust. Lean shake is 104g total grams of powder, but it also has some carbs/fiber with it. Might just need to add in more of a fat source going straight protein)
    • 21g Coconut Flour

Bob’s Red Mill – Organic Coconut Flour, 16 Ounces

    • 10g Truvia or granulated sugar of choice

Truvia Natural Sweetener, Baking Blend, 1.5 Pound

  • 14g Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
  • 8g SF FF Vanilla Pudding mix
  • 138g(3svg)  Liquid Egg whites
  • 200g 0% Plain Greek yogurt
  • 40g Dried Cherries
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/4-1/2 Orange Extract(more extract if not using orange protein powder)
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a bowl place your protein, coconut flour, sweeteners, baking powder and pudding mix. Combine all ingredients well.
  3. Next place in your eggs, vanilla, yogurt, and orange extract. Combine into dry mix.
  4. I then placed 15g of my dried cherries into the mix and stirred well.
  5. Place batter evenly into a sprayed muffin tin. I got 10 total. Adjust for macros and desired size.
  6. Place remaining cherries on top of each muffin,. I averaged 2-3 per muffin.
  7. Place on the middle rack of your oven and bake for 15-18 minutes. Baking times vary from protein to protein.
  8. Use the toothpick method to check if done. Once Done, pull out and place on cooling rack.
  9. After 10 minutes, remove from muffin tin and place back on cooling rack to finish baking.
